Mission and vision
Our mission is to empower people to enhance their professional or personal life through online culinary education.
We have created the Online Culinary School, to allow people to access quality culinary education online. You will learn all the basics that are taught in a "bricks and mortar" school at your own pace, no matter where you are in the world. This video-based online cooking and culinary arts instruction includes a curriculum, courses, videos lessons, quizzes, homework, and a certification of completion. Our goals are to offer a wide range of culinary courses and give a valuable and practical alternative to people who want to take culinary courses for personal or professional reasons but who cannot attend them in a regular school because of their location, schedule, or budget. We are launching the school with cooking courses, but plan to recruit the cream of the crop in culinary education to teach other subject matters such as nutrition, world cuisine, wine education, etc. Who we areOnlineCulinarySchool.net is a division of Carpe Diem Consulting Inc., a company based in beautiful Vancouver, Canada. We have been in business for more than nine years, teaching people how to cook both in person and online through our site: http://www.911cheferic.com. That site is widely used today and offers recipes along with videos and a gourmet club community. It is geared towards people who enjoy cooking for fun. The owners of the company, Chef Eric Arrouzé and Frederique Niel are both from France. They offer an extensive knowledge of the food industry and hotel management. Chef Eric has been cooking professionally since 1983, when he was just 16 years old. He has worked in famous hotels and restaurants in both France and Canada. He has a British Columbia Instructor Diploma and more than 10 years of experience in teaching culinary arts. He currently teaches at the University of British Columbia and gives cooking classes in private homes and various organizations. Frederique Niel has a degree in hotel management that she earned in France. She then worked in various luxury hotels in France and Canada before creating her own web design business more than eight years ago after a career change. She is very involved in the food industry, she has been taking care of the technical and visual sides of the www.911cheferic.com web site. Frederique is also a recognized food photographer, and her role in the company is to provide technical support and organize the various school programs. Our mission is to empower people to enhance their professional or personal life through online culinary education. Our vision is to have students from all over the world become part of our online culinary school - which is unlike any other! |
