Our courses are based on videos. You will receive the same instruction as if you were in a “bricks and mortar” school. We have found that our curriculum is even better than a typical program in school because you can view the videos over and over until you fully understand the subject.
To the exception of the continuing studies courses, your instructor will carefully check on your attendance and will make sure that you have done your homework and quizzes. He or she will provide feedback on your progress and interact with you as needed. We want you to feel that you have the same support that you would receive if you were taking the course in a “bricks and mortar” culinary school.
If you are a beginner or are new to the culinary arts, we recommend that you take the courses in the order as suggested in the curriculum. In later lessons; we will assume that you have the knowledge from the previous lesson. If you are not a beginner, make sure that you have the pre-requisite knowledge.
Depending on the course, you may need to purchase some equipment. We recommend that you first check in your kitchen to see if you have the necessary products. It does not need to be new, just of a good quality. When you purchase good quality products, they will last quite a long time, perhaps a lifetime. For example, knives can be expensive, but you should not have to buy purchase new ones if you have a set handy.
Yes. When you register, we expect you to study, take the quizzes, and do the assignments on time. A late delivery may result in a failing grade.
Indeed, people who have successfully completed the course will receive a certificate of completion. The required grade will vary from one course to another. To receive certification for each course, you must receive a total grade of 70 percent or higher. You may take the quizzes several times but the final test is only given once.
Indeed, because we are a virtual school, we cannot judge the taste of your dish. That is the reason why we have developed a self-evaluation card that can be filled out by you, your friends, and your family. Also, we ask you to take a picture of your creation and email it to us to be evaluated.
In our progressive courses, we teach you everything you should know. There is homework to do and quizzes to take. Furthermore, we suggest you find a position in a restaurant where you will be able to practice the dishes that you have learned in a real-life setting.

The term “culinary” includes anything related food from cooking to wine tasting to pastries to waiting tables the way it is done in five-star restaurant, etc. We are starting with cooking courses, but we want to offer you various types of courses related to the industry and not just dealing with the aspect of cooking.}
The duration will vary depending on the subject matter. But most courses are four weeks long and are quite intensive.

We suggest that you subscribe to our free demo lesson and see if it’s something that you enjoy. Learning online requires self-discipline that is not for everyone.
